Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including garnishments, bonuses, and commissions
- Manage time and attendance systems, resolving discrepancies and exceptions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, AZ labor laws)
- Prepare and file payroll tax forms (941s, 940s, state unemployment reports)
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile accounts monthly
- Support year-end processing including W-2 distribution and 1099 preparation
- Assist with payroll system implementations and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of federal/state tax regulations and labor laws
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to confidentially handle sensitive employee data
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
