Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using ADP and QuickBooks.
- Verify and reconcile time cards, leave balances, and payroll adjustments.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns (941, W-2s, 1099s).
- Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with internal and external audits.
- Process employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax forms.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or similar) and accounting software (QuickBooks).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
