Responsibilities
- Process Weekly Payroll: Accurately calculate and process payroll for all employees using ADP and Workday systems.
- Compliance Management: Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns and reports in a timely manner.
- Data Accuracy: Audit payroll data to ensure all hours, deductions, and tax information are correct before processing.
- Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and confidential employee payroll records and files.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute monthly payroll reports to management and finance departments.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a corporate environment.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of payroll software (ADP, Paylocity, Workday, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure high levels of accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and management.
- Integrity: Ability to handle sensitive financial information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
