As a Payroll Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time. You will collaborate with the finance team to maintain compliance and resolve any discrepancies.

Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using [Software Name] to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Calculate overtime, commissions, bonuses, and deductions accurately.
- Prepare and distribute paystubs, W-2s, and tax forms in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Review and audit timesheets and leave requests for errors or discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and filing systems.
- Assist in month-end close processes related to payroll expenses.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) preferred.
- Experience with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and management.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity.
