Responsibilities
- Process and manage weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using [Software Name].
- Verify and input accurate payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, and deductions.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns and forms.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies with high accuracy.
- Maintain and update comprehensive payroll records and employee files.
- Assist with year-end reporting, W-2 generation, and 1099 filings.
- Ensure full compliance with FLSA regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in payroll processing.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll tax laws and FLSA regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with absolute confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with staff and management.
