Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for a diverse workforce using ADP and QuickBooks.
- Verify time sheets, leave requests, and expense reports for accuracy.
- Prepare and reconcile payroll tax filings and W-2 statements.
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and documentation.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and time off.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state labor laws and tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
