Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries within SLAs
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/yearly tax filings
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee financial data
- Generate payroll reports for executive and audit purposes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Deep understanding of CA, federal, and local labor regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills for payroll reconciliation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
