Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 150+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify timekeeping data and reconcile discrepancies with department managers
- Calculate and garnish wage deductions (taxes, benefits, child support)
- Generate payroll reports for internal audits and compliance
- Maintain confidential employee records in HRIS systems
- Assist with year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) distribution
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of US payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll software
- Deep understanding of FLSA, FICA, and NM wage regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas)
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to meet strict payroll deadlines
