Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to determine creditworthiness.
- Assess risk factors and make informed recommendations regarding credit limits and terms.
- Monitor existing accounts for signs of financial distress or changing risk profiles.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the internal credit management system.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and reports for senior management review.
- Collaborate with the lending team to streamline the underwriting process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or banking is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
