Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for early warning signs of credit deterioration
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Stay updated on industry regulations and credit policy changes
- Utilize credit scoring models and financial software for risk evaluation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of credit risk metrics and financial statement analysis
- Familiarity with credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for client interactions
- Credit Analyst Certification (CRCM) preferred
