- Conduct thorough tax research and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
- Collaborate with senior staff on complex tax cases and audits
- Maintain accurate client records using tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess)
- Communicate tax implications clearly to clients through written reports and consultations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and state tax codes
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client relationships
- Proven track record of maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards
