Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes (FINRA, SEC, NC Banking Laws) to update compliance policies
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits for financial products and processes
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for staff across departments
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with detailed documentation
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain audit trails for all compliance activities
- Collaborate with legal and senior leadership on compliance strategy implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of compliance experience in financial services or regulated industry
- Active CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) or CCEP designation
- Proficiency with compliance software (e.g., MetricStream, Wolters Kluwer)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
