As a Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring our numbers always add up. We are looking for a reliable partner who is passionate about maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll for a small team of 10-15 employees (bi-weekly).
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and year-end tax documents.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all financial records, both digital and physical.
- Perform general ledger duties and expense tracking.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required; Sage experience is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
