Core Responsibilities:
We are seeking an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. Your primary focus will be ensuring the accuracy of financial data and maintaining the integrity of our clients' books. You will work closely with our accounting managers to provide timely financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure all records match.
- Prepare and send invoices, track payments, and manage collections processes.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and journals in compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Process payroll for small business clients on a bi-weekly basis.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and book closing procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online or Xero preferred) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
