Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly with high accuracy.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and ensure all financial data is up to date.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Assist with payroll processing and month-end close procedures.
- Assist external auditors with requested documentation and data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with US tax regulations and GAAP principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
