Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries and balances are accurate.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including issuing invoices and tracking payments.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation.
- Organize and file financial records, contracts, and receipts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
