Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports for management.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial records.
- Process payroll and ensure tax filings are completed accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, general accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
