Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow tracking
- Prepare financial statements and month-end closing reports
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for data entry and transaction management
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation preparation
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance
- Support annual audits and provide documentation as needed
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with small businesses
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
