Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial records using Xero/QuickBooks
- Process payroll and VAT submissions quarterly
- Prepare monthly financial statements for review
- Manage bank reconciliations and expense tracking
- Assist with year-end accounts preparation
- Provide financial insights to client stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with UK SMEs
- Xero/QuickBooks proficiency essential
- AAT Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification
- Strong Excel skills with pivot table expertise
- Experience with payroll processing (RTI submissions)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
