Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process monthly bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor communications
- Prepare VAT returns and quarterly management accounts
- Support payroll processing and employee expense claims
- Assist with year-end financial statements and audits
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping (2+ years)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software
- AAT Level 3 or equivalent qualification essential
- Strong Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table knowledge
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- UK-based accounting software compliance knowledge
