Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records using QuickBooks and Xero
- Process accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Prepare VAT returns and manage HMRC communications
- Generate monthly financial reports for client review
- Assist with payroll processing and year-end tax documentation
- Implement bookkeeping best practices across client portfolios
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounts management (min. 2 years)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage software
- AAT Level 3 or equivalent accounting qualification essential
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- UK residency and right to work required
