Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Manage and execute vendor payments via ACH, wire transfers, and checks in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for AP transactions and ledgers.
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding invoice status and questions.
- Assist in month-end close processes and financial reporting preparation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, general ledger, or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
