We are looking for a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies promptly.
- Manage and maintain the AP sub-ledger and vendor master files.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to enter data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- 1-2 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
