Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and documentation.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and internal policies.
- Provide support during internal and external audits as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
