Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and general ledger entries.
- Support the payroll process and ensure all tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Perform month-end close procedures and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
