Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Prepare and process payroll for a small team.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online and Excel.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
