Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and maintain compliance records
- Assist with tax preparation and quarterly filings
- Implement internal controls for financial processes
- Support budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Excel (Advanced functions)
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
