Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 10-15 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 100% accuracy and timely submission
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits for client portfolios
- Implement internal controls and process improvements to enhance financial workflows
- Provide financial consulting and budgetary guidance to small business owners
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
