Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and compliance documentation
- Maintain detailed general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Support budgeting processes and variance analysis for clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Nashville local candidates strongly preferred
