Responsibilities
- Manage monthly bookkeeping cycles for 15-20 client accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) with actionable insights
- Process payroll and tax filings quarterly for Philadelphia-based clients
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis for corporate accounts
- Assist with year-end audits and IRS documentation preparation
- Implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and PA tax regulations
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client financial strategy sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online and Excel proficiency
- Strong understanding of Pennsylvania state tax requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to numerical precision
- Effective communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP or similar platforms)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams
