Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with Tennessee tax regulations
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement and improve accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online
- Provide financial insights to support client business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Tennessee tax requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
