Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and process payroll for multiple clients
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for financial reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with auditors during tax season and financial reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Part-time availability (20-25 hours/week)
