Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for multiple clients with 100% accuracy.
- Handle complex tax filings, including federal, state, and local withholdings.
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries, deductions, and tax documentation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee data and financial records.
- Utilize payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or similar) to ensure timely processing.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of payroll reports and bank statements.
- Stay updated on changing labor laws and payroll regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Willingness to participate in and complete the company-sponsored training program.
