Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes with 100% accuracy
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist in audit preparation by providing documentation and supporting schedules
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with department heads on budget variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Support tax preparation processes through documentation gathering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proven experience working night shifts or overnight schedules
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
