Pacific Ledger Group is seeking a meticulous and experienced Night Shift Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team in Seattle, WA. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a nightly basis to identify discrepancies immediately.
- Process and post journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals to the general ledger.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary documentation.
- Perform quality control checks on all financial data entered during the shift.
- Communicate effectively with the day-shift team and clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy levels under time pressure.
- Ability to work independently and stay focused during night shifts.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
