Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including daily accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll for all employees with 100% accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries and generate accurate financial statements.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and monthly closing procedures.
- Assist with tax preparation, quarterly filings, and annual audit support.
- Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and receipts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and high-level organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
