Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and detect discrepancies.
- Manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close process by preparing necessary journal entries and schedules.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, for leadership review.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) to track financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve billing inquiries and improve accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Must be available to work night shifts (typically 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
