Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable/receivable, general ledgers, and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile bank accounts
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Manage vendor invoices and payment processing during night shift hours
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audits
- Utilize QuickBooks and other financial software for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with day-time finance team for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently during night hours (6 PM - 2 AM)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (if required for occasional deposits)
