Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial records.
- Post journal entries and assist with the monthly and year-end close procedures.
- Generate and review financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor statements.
- Maintain the general ledger system and ensure all financial data is up to date.
- Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping verification.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shift hours.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
