Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current accounting workflows and implement modern solutions to enhance productivity.
- Compliance & Audit: Assist external auditors and tax consultants during annual audits, ensuring all documentation is organized and accessible.
- Payroll Support: Coordinate with payroll providers to ensure accurate disbursements and tax filings.
- Vendor Relations: Manage vendor accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain a healthy cash flow.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a significant plus.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or remote environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).
