Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial analysis principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
