Responsibilities
- Manage Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate, timely, and fully supported.
- Process Audits: Assist in external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for account reconciliations.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required. CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
