Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheets) to provide actionable insights to management.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and the preparation of financial statements for external audits.
- Reconcile credit card statements and bank accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data.
- Experience with Payroll processing and basic tax filing is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
