Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger entries.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including trial balances and P&L statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist the controller with month-end and year-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
