Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions nightly
- Process payroll for UK and international employees
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with strict deadlines
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns and year-end audits
- Collaborate with day-time finance team for seamless handovers
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in Xero/QuickBooks and Excel
- UK accounting qualifications (AAT or equivalent)
- Proven ability to meet night shift deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
