In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the company’s financial health by managing complex reconciliations, preparing nightly reports, and supporting the month-end close process. Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations with high accuracy.
- Process and post nightly journal entries and adjust entries to ensure financial records are current.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and variance analysis.
- Review and audit invoices, receipts, and expense reports submitted during the shift.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP accounting standards.
- Communicate with external partners and internal departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
- Support the Payroll team by ensuring accurate data input for the night cycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Experience working in a night shift or similar high-volume processing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Must be available to work a fixed night shift schedule (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
