Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate posting.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare general ledger entries.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing procedures, including variance analysis.
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Support external and internal audits by providing requested documentation and data.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel functions to maintain data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a night shift environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
