Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Conduct nightly bank reconciliations and general ledger entries to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and review financial reports, adjusting entries, and variance analysis.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documentation and records.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding discrepancies and financial status during the shift.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience (night shift experience preferred).
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
