Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Accurately process and verify daily invoices, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Month-End Close: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, adjusting entries, and journal entries.
- Expense Management: Review and audit expense reports and employee reimbursements for accuracy.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute financial reports to management on a timely basis.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting activities adhere to internal controls and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is required) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot discrepancies and errors in data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
