Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and within stipulated timeframes.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and compile financial statements, ledgers, and management reports for the night shift review and audit preparation.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting activities strictly adhere to GAAP standards and internal company policies and procedures.
- Month-End Close: Assist the finance team during the month-end close process, including accruals and adjustments.
- System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain accounting software systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM or 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Attributes: Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
